Problem

Discoloured, ageing fillings and an aesthetic that no longer matched the patient’s personality.

Solutions

Digital smile redesign with full zirconia veneers and crowns.

Before

This is the story of a patient for whom smiling, for a long time, was not a natural gesture. It was controlled. Shortened. Often stopped halfway. Years of treatment, old discoloured fillings, and tired teeth meant her smile stopped being a signature — and became a compromise: something tolerated, but not celebrated. The patient never stopped smiling. She stopped doing it freely. When designing her smile, one question mattered most: how can we make it look as though it had always been this way? Without artificiality. Without exaggeration. Without overpowering the face. Instead — clean form, a subtle smile line, and harmony with natural expression.

Without artificiality. Without excess. Without overpowering the face.

Treatment began with the decision not to “fix” individual elements, but to redesign the smile from the ground up. With digital planning, we created a cohesive aesthetic concept built around naturalness, proportion, and calmness of form. Full zirconia veneers and crowns allowed us to create a smile that does not shout “aesthetics”, but brings a sense of quiet confidence. The change was immediate — yet the most meaningful effect appeared in the patient’s behaviour.

After

The courage to smile

This transformation was not an attempt to create a new person. It was a return to who the patient had always been — only without limitations. Today, she does not analyse her smile. She simply uses it — in conversation, in photographs, and in everyday moments. Because a well-designed smile does not demand attention. It simply stays with you for years.
