This transformation began with a conscious choice. The patient did not want a “new face”, nor a dramatic change that would overpower her features. She wanted a smile that would be a better version of her own — stronger, more harmonious, and built to last.
The main challenge was advanced loss of tooth volume in the upper arch. The teeth had become too thin, shorter, and less defined, and the smile no longer felt in balance with the patient’s facial features.
Digital planning allowed us to design every detail with precision: tooth length, gentle rounding, and proportions in relation to the lips and face. This gave the patient a clear sense of direction, full confidence in the plan, and reassurance at every stage of treatment.
Zirconia crowns restored volume and freshness to the smile, while also strengthening teeth that had previously been thin and vulnerable to further wear.
The final result is natural, cohesive, and quietly elegant — the smile does not draw attention through its “newness”, but through its harmony. Today, the patient smiles freely, without worrying about the fragility of her teeth and without feeling the need to “manage” her smile.
